Rooftops, Rockaway Beach, and a Random House Party

Milly was at a house party in Greenpoint when she met Brandon, but he wasn’t even invited. No, he didn’t crash the party – he was actually moving into the apartment across the hall! But he and Milly locked eyes and… you know how it goes. They fell in love not long after that, spending the Summer on Brandon’s roof listening to R&B and sharing stories of their childhoods. He grew up in Texas, she in Sydney, Australia, but somehow, they found so many things on which to connect.

They’ve both lived in Brooklyn for about 7 years–making lifelong friends, trying all the best restaurants, going to shows, and their favorite–taking trips to Rockaway Beach to surf every weekend–which is where Brandon proposed. They wed in a small, private ceremony at Lentol Garden in Williamsburg – they read their own vows. Afterwards, they traced back the steps of their relationship, taking photos at places they fell in love like Lot Radio and 5 Leaves. They even took a walk back to the apartment where they first met all those years ago. They sat on the stoop of the building, sipping coffee together, enjoying their first day as a married couple. So. Damn. Cute.

Get married however you please.
