Vicki & Edward’s Brooklyn Heights Promenade Ceremony

Vicki and Edward met eleven years ago at work — he noticed her immediately, dressed all in black and looking “particularly grumpy,” while she took a bit longer to catch on. What followed was a relationship shaped by contrast and balance, from early days of cocktails and travel to a life built around their son Otis, their dogs, and years of shared highs and lows. Traveling from the UK to New York, they chose the Brooklyn Heights Promenade for its iconic skyline views and intimate feel, exchanging vows surrounded by their closest people, with Otis holding the rings and the city stretching out behind them.

A Brooklyn Wedding, their way

Their day carried the same energy that defines their relationship — thoughtful but never too polished. From a slightly chaotic proposal on a cold beach in Saltburn to unforgettable (and sometimes questionable) adventures along the way, their story has always been a mix of love and unpredictability. After the ceremony, they stayed close to the Promenade, letting New York become the backdrop without overcomplicating it. It was also a day that held space for Vicki’s mum, Heather, whose presence was deeply felt. Altogether, it was a wedding that reflected everything they’ve built — grounded, personal, and shaped by eleven years of choosing each other.

Get married however you please.
