Kate and James
The Long Time
Game Day
Kate and James met on a co-ed softball team and have been teammates ever since. James says he fell for Kats swing and her style—always down to hang with the crew, whether she’s in cleats or cowboy boots.
So when it came to their wedding, there was no question: it had to happen on a ball field.
They tied the knot at The Long Time, Austin’s legendary sandlot baseball haven. After watching the Texas Playboys pull off a win, they got married at home plate—officiated by team captain (and Long Time founder) Jack Sanders himself.
They wrapped it all up with cold beers, a bluegrass band, and a little two-stepping under the trees.
