Emma & Adam’s Lake Hollywood Park Elopement
Emma and Adam met online, over Magic: The Gathering. Both are gaming content creator and they followed each other a while before he asked her onto his stream. She said yes. He seemed cool.
They lived on opposite sides of the country and kept it online. Then they got booked for the same event in London and made a plan to meet. Adam ordered a cocktail and nothing else. Emma, starving, ate an entire burger and chips in front of him. That was the moment for both of them
A tiny flat above a pizza shop, a proposal in Barcelona, a Zelda puzzle finished on New Year’s Eve, and a lot of concerts later, they came from England to Los Angeles and got married under the Hollywood Sign, at Lake Hollywood Park. Just the two of them.
Under the Hollywood sign, then down the boulevard
At Lake Hollywood Park with the Hollywood sign on the hill behind them. There were short and sweet vows, and a couple beautiful poems.
A vintage Lincoln Continental took them down to Hollywood Boulevard, stopping at the TCL Chinese Theatre for the handprints and the courtyard, then on to Amoeba Music to shop for some records. They wrapped things up with cocktails and the sunset.
