There’s something about her…
On the hottest day of the summer, Lindsay and Scott had their first date at The Maritime Hotel bar. They met on Bumble, and just before their date, Scott showed a picture of Lindsay to his mom and said “There’s something about her. I can’t explain it. We’ve never met, but this one is different.”
He was right—the two laughed all night, and the rest was history.
Lindsay had lived in New York for 20 years before meeting Scott, who had just recently moved to the city when they met. The two fell in love on the streets of the West Village–holding hands, riding Citi-Bikes, and exploring the neighborhood together.
Lindsay and Scott’s Cakewalk wedding was a beautiful sunset ceremony overlooking the water at Hudson River Park.
After they said their vows, they bopped around all their favorite neighborhood haunts – WXOU Bar, Casa Magazines, even the stoop of their first apartment together!
