Book A Consultation
A quick 20-minute call to talk through your love story, your early ideas, and how a Cakewalk comes together.
A small ceremony in the middle of the city, done properly, is a great way to get married. Low key, low stress, completely yours.
It's fine if only one of you can make it. Have a read through the notes below first.
A few things worth knowing
We handle everything but the reception.
Within the day itself, it's all us: location scouting and permits, a custom ceremony written from your story, one of our photographers, a timeline that keeps things moving, and the full marriage license process. We don't plan receptions or dinners, but once you're booked we'll point you to great places to celebrate after.
The city is your venue.
We get married in the parks, gardens, and landmarks that make Los Angeles what it is, and we handle the permits so you don't have to think about them. We don't book private venues, but if you've already got one you love, we can bring the ceremony to it.
Photography comes standard.
Every Cakewalk includes one of our photographers, editorial and documentary shooters who work fast and stay out of the way. Great photos are part of the day, not an add-on.
Our team works as a team.
Our photographers, officiants, videographers, and musicians do Cakewalk days together. They know the locations, the timing, and each other, which is exactly why the day runs so smoothly. So we bring the whole team, not pieces of it.
Give us at least a month, ideally more.
Permits alone take about three weeks, so a month out is the floor. Book four or more months ahead and you get first pick of dates and locations.
How the call works.
Twenty minutes on Google Meet, cameras on, from a laptop or desktop if you can, since we'll be looking at a few things together. One of you is plenty if the other can't make it.
