Chloe & Sam's Wagner Cove Ceremony in Central Park

Chloe and Sam met in a gym in Lowestoft, their seaside hometown in England. Sam had been quietly nursing a crush for a while before he worked up the nerve to walk up to Chloe during a stretching session. They've been inseparable since.

Three months in, Chloe told Sam she wanted to move to New Zealand. He didn't blink. Six months later, they were there, and they've been building a life on the other side of the world ever since.

Six years in, Sam proposed in a quiet corner of Central Park. Tucked away, no audience, exactly the kind of moment Chloe would want. So when it came time to get married, they came back to the spot that started it all. Wagner Cove.

Wagner Cove sits on the west side of the Lake, around 72nd Street. A small wooden pavilion built into the trees, half-tucked behind the water. Most people walking through Central Park don't know it's there, which is exactly why Sam picked it.

Chloe and Sam flew in from New Zealand with Sam's parents, Faye and Ian, who've supported them through every leap, including the one across the ocean. They exchanged standard vows. Sam's dad held the rings. The whole thing was small, quiet, and entirely theirs.

Before bed, Chloe and Sam have a little ritual. They ask each other, "Don't we laugh?" That's the through-line. Their relationship in three words.
