A Willamsburg Elopement

Milly met Brandon at a house party in Greenpoint that he wasn't invited to. He wasn't crashing. He was moving into the apartment across the hall. They locked eyes, and that was more or less that. They spent the summer on his roof listening to R&B and trading childhood stories. He grew up in Texas and she grew up in Sydney, and they still found plenty in common. Seven years in Brooklyn later, they have close friends, a long list of great restaurants, a lot of shows, and a standing weekend surf trip to Rockaway Beach, which is where Brandon proposed. They got married in a small, ceremony in Williamsburg and read vows they wrote themselves.

Back Where It All Started

After the ceremony, they walked back through their story. They took photos at The Lot Radio and Five Leaves and ended at the building where they first met. They sat on the stoop with coffee, married, a few steps from where it began.
