A Bow Bridge micro wedding

Bride and groom kissing in front of Bow Bridge in Central Park, NYC after their Cakewalk elopement.

Becky and Antony met at work. From day one, she was "Becky with the good hair" to him, and also the person who was always bumping into things in the office kitchen. At a company golf day, she pulled up in a cart selling mulligan balloons just as he went to swing. He missed completely, and she couldn't stop laughing.

It took months for him to ask her out. When he finally did, she said yes, and life hasn’t been the same since. Campervan weekends in the Lake District with their dogs, Buddy and Henry, and late-night Spotify singalongs in the living room.

For their wedding, they came over from England with their 20 favorites people and a clear picture in mind: Central Park, with classic New York architecture behind them. The day started with a first look with Becky's dad at The Kixby. Then, to Bow Bridge where Antony was waiting for her.

A note from Becky + Antony

“My now husband and I are from the UK - Finding Lia and Cakewalk was just the start of building the day of our dreams.

Our day felt so authentically us. Lia’s team were so much fun to be around, we loved Vanessa our photographer, she was genuinely as excited as we were on the day and what a difference it made! Everything ran perfectly and we were able to just truly enjoy ourselves. And the pictures really show this!

I’m so grateful I found cakewalk and Lia’s team. What an unbelievably smart concept they’ve got going on, built with such creative and fun people. I can’t stress how authentic the day felt.

Thank you all so so much. We’ve made memories for life and had the happiest day.”

A vintage cab to Rosehill

After the ceremony, everyone gathered on and around the bridge for group photos, then Becky and Antony headed into the park for portraits. Awaiting them was a vintage taxi which drove them down to Midtown. They stopped for crosswalk and cab photos along the way, then met their guests at Rosehill Rooftop which they booked for dinner.

Get married however you please.
